Like in 2022, this year too at Caplan we had the pleasure to host another Barossa seminar in collaboration with @barossawines and @barossawinejapan.

Happy and honoured of having been chosen as Most Impressive Player of Caplan in the year 2022.

It has been a long and fulfilling day yesterday at Caplan Wine Academy: Kit and Cindy from WSET Hong Kong came to visit and re-evaluate our APP. The process is very rigorous and it took the whole day to go through it, but in between we had time for an Italian lunch.

Well, I am pretty surprised by this one. 2018 Blanc de Morgex et de la Salle from Cave Mont Blanc: I had tried this same vintage a couple of years ago and I had not been impressed, but wow it really agreed gracefully! Lot of tertiary complexity and a very engaging saline profile. Really a great mountain white.

Wine & Gourmet Japan! Not many Italian wines, so I focused on Greece, Spain and Ukraine. Smaller than the Foodex, but interesting nonetheless
