From October 2nd to 10th the fourth edition of the Milano Wine Week is being held in Milan.

The event is itself a sort of event container, with hundreds of tastings, masterclasses, exhibition, wine pairings, wine tours and others. The biggest Consorzios occupy specific districts of central Milan, and organize their events there. So, as you can see from the map above, for example the Consorzio Tutela Vini d’Abruzzo is opening their events at Porta Venezia, while in the Galleria near the Duomo you may be able to find the Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino.

The rich program of the week can be found in English here.

Will we ever have a Tokyo Wine Week? I would not hold my breath.
