Taurasi is a fascinating wine, but sometimes you really need to wait for it to mature or at least decant it before drinking. So it is nice to find a 2013 Vinosia Taurasi Sant'Andrea with a bit more intensity and openness than the average, not only the typical black fruit, spice and earth, but also a sweeter vanilla scent plus lots of herbs (mint, lavender) and flowers (acacia especially). Structured as typical for this wine, full and long in the mouth. Excellent. #vinosia #taurasi #aglianico #wine #italy
